About

Hi, I'm Ana - the designer behind Anntser

Product Designer specializing in complex B2B fintech platforms and design systems. Over 5+ years I've gone from teaching myself design, to being the solo designer who builds a company's entire digital presence, to working in a design team unifying a portfolio of WealthTech products under one design system.

I don't optimize for my role. I optimize for product health.

How I work

Over time, I've learned that the biggest risks to a product are rarely visual or technical. They're human. When designers, developers, and business stakeholders struggle to understand each other, progress slows - and I naturally step into the space between them. In practice, that looks like:

Reframing design decisions as product decisionsDevelopers always get the context - the user problem, the business goal, the trade-offs. Conversations shift from "why design wants this" to "why the product needs this."
Handoff systems developers actually likeClear feature documentation, defined states and edge cases, interaction logic in plain language, one shared source of truth. Less rework, fewer assumptions.
Prototyping as a communication toolEvery new flow gets designed, prototyped, and reviewed together before code is written - alignment happens early, when it's cheap.
Space for real dialogueDesign–developer syncs focused on understanding rather than status. Developers share constraints early, their ideas shape solutions, and trust replaces resistance.

And when a product needs more than its team structure provides - missing roles, missing processes - I help build the team itself. At one company, that meant recruiting and coordinating the developers and designers we needed to ship, then mentoring the junior designer I hired.

Women in UX

A few years ago, in a local designers' community, I met a woman whose situation stayed with me: a single mom looking for a way to learn a profession and support her family. I offered to teach her UX - no cost, no catch.

Word spread. One mentee became seven women with similar stories - people who needed a path into the field more than they needed another paid course. I gave one-on-one guidance, real product thinking, and career support: portfolios, interview prep, honest feedback.

Today, several of them work in UX. One joined a company on my recommendation - and I later became the lead designer of the team she joined, which remains one of my favorite full-circle moments in this profession.

I mentor because strong products are built by strong people - and because someone has to open the door.

What I'm looking for

Product design roles on complex, data-heavy B2B products - fintech, WealthTech, and adjacent domains - where design systems thinking, research rigor, and cross-functional trust actually matter.
